The Black-Box BioPSafe is an integrated verification and traceability platform engineered to minimize human error, prevent sample mix-ups, and enhance procedural safety during embryo biopsy and other embryological manipulations performed under a stereomicroscope.
The system operates through two dedicated modules: BioPSafe for embryo biopsy verification and Multi-Purpose for dish-to-dish transfers. It provides real-time monitoring of source and target locations, embryo identification, and procedural sequences.
Through automated positional verification, predefined workflow management, and an intuitive touchscreen interface, the system detects mismatches and guides operators through each critical step, reducing the risk of incorrect embryo placement or biopsy sample transfer.
The system also supports embryo-level traceability, including verification of biopsy material transfer into the corresponding PCR tube, with digital documentation and automated procedural reports.
